Triaging the Current Crisis in Healthcare Missions (Virtual Event 1 of 2)

We are currently experiencing one of the highest rates of healthcare missionary attrition of all time

This means missionaries coming off the field with potentially no desire to return.  Coupled with the world of COVID, there are very few people filling those roles and coming to help bring relief for short-term assistance.  This may be one of the greatest issues of our time in healthcare missions.  

This is the first of two virtual events designed to bring recognition and understanding to this issue.  We invite you to attend, to come and learn, and to interact with others on this great issue.  Join us for this FREE event to learn how you might fit into this story.

We stand at an unprecedented time in history where we are witnessing a significant amount of attrition with many healthcare missionaries coming home, many with little intent to return (currently an estimated 20% attrition).  

As these needs have been brought to our attention, our team has worked to create one approach to addressing this significant need.  Essentially a plan to hyper-focus on short-term engagement in global missions to help relieve and replenish global healthcare missionaries. 

We’re going to be talking a lot about short-term engagement in the next few months.  This specific event is designed to help connect individuals with organizations that offer short-term opportunities to serve.

• Any individual exploring how God is calling them into healthcare missions.
• Any individual desiring to step into the current crisis and need to support global healthcare missions.
• Any organization offering short term opportunities (group trips or individual trips)

What can I expect from this event?

• It's short... less than two hours
• It's just part one... a second virtual event will follow to help you connect with organizations.
• Resources... we'll be releasing a new resource to help you navigate your role in all of this.
• Experts... several experts and field professionals will be speaking into the crisis and need.

One of the many things we love about healthcare missions is just how much of a family we all are and in times like this, we come together to encourage each other and work toward greater engagement. 

That is our goal … to come together again for the glory of God.
