Respiratory illnesses are one of the leading causes in both neonates (infants) and all children <5 years old in LMICs in part because of the lack of low-cost, widely available options for device beyond low-flow nasal cannulas. In this session we discuss low cost devices and adaptations for respiratory support in infants and children appropriate in low and middle income countries. Participants to make several of these devices using locally available supplies and practice hand on use of other devices including some low cost commercial options.
