Charles Mosler, Pharm.D., BCGP, FASCP, Associate Professor of Pharmacy Practice, The University of Findlay, College of Pharmacy: Charlie received his Doctor of Pharmacy from Ohio Northern University, Ada, Ohio. He is a Certified Geriatric Pharmacist and Fellow of the American Society of Consultant Pharmacists. At The University of Findlay, Charlie teaches in the Gastrointestinal, Endocrinology, Cardiovascular, Immunology, Infectious Disease and NeuroPsych disease state modules, as well as in the Application of Pharmacy Practice (Capstone) module and Pharmacy Practice Skills Labs. He also teaches in the geriatric pharmacy, tropical medicine, and Parkinson’s disease electives. Charlie also assists with teaching pharmacotherapy to the Physician Assistant students at The University of Findlay. He continues to practice as a consultant pharmacist for about 200 local nursing home residents and works for a local long-term care pharmacy. His areas of interest include geriatric pharmacotherapy, long-term care, medical missions, and tropical disease. He and his wife Alison, also a pharmacist, enjoy traveling and have participated in numerous medical mission trips around the world. Their 12 acre hobby farm between Ada and Bluffton, Ohio along with their two sons keep them busy.
