GMHC 2021

Raj is a medical doctor and psychiatrist who served in various rural hospitals in South Asia to develop a Christ-centered mental health program. He currently works as a psychiatrist and counselor at a rural hospital up in the Himalayas. He is passionate about equipping the church to be a healing community to offer counseling and care for those who are suffering especially with mental illness. He also serves as a non-resident scholar at the Center for Spirituality, Theology, and Health at Duke University School of Medicine, NC, which promotes research in the area of spirituality and health.
