The principles of the Gospel are opposite of the principles of this world. The last shall be first. Give if you want to receive. To live, you must die. Through living and serving in inner-city neighborhoods, we have found this tension very present but incredibly edifying. The closer you commune with the broken, the more whole you become. The Lord can prepare you to work with unreached people groups by living humbly among heavily churched Americans. As physical wealth and comfort is released, spiritual wealth and comfort grow. Come hear lessons learned from two young family medicine doctors living, working, and serving among the urban underserved before launching to the mission field.
