GMHC 2020 (25th Anniversary)

I am a pediatric surgeon by training but have been working most of life with mission hospitals in rural areas. I became interested in family medicine since I believe that it has the ability to transform the health care of a nation. I also started India's first distance education and tele-medicine department for a medical college. Currently I am the CEO of ICMDA or the International Christian Medical and Dental Association. ICMDA brings together Christian doctors and dentists of 70 member countries. I am married to Shalini, a public health specialist and we have 3 grown up children. I am based in Vellore, India and am very interested in leadership development of young medical students and doctors. Vinod Shah
