PT/OT Hands On Extended Session

This extended session is intended to be a "hands on" practical session taught be several Physical Therapists covering a variety topics that would be valuable for therapists and non-therapist providers. This is intended to be an informal time of working through approaches for several different types of patient needs that you might find on the mission field. Specifically covered will be the treatment of spinal and extremity pain, wheelchair fitting and management for patients, transfer training and ambulation training . Also the use of Durable Medical Equipment ( DME) for missions and specifically pediatrics will be covered.
