PTSD is a diagnosis often hastily given to victims of sex trafficking. A deeper understanding of their trauma narratives paints a much more complex picture, making the diagnosis of Complex PSTD one worth our consideration. This session unpacks the diagnostic label and how it may apply to certain victims of sex trafficking. Ms Allert will bring into the session over a decade of experience providing restorative care to victims of domestic sex trafficking.
