Doing a clinical rotation in a missional setting is critical for every healthcare student who sees medicine as a missional opportunity to serve Christ. There are numerous opportunities to not only learn excellent medicine, but to also see how faith is integrated into medical care by seasoned medical disciples and mentors. This session will discuss why this MUST be a priority, preparations that the provider-in-training should make to get the most out of those clinical experiences, and where those opportunities can be found both domestically and abroad. Every medical, PA, and advanced nursing student should attend this session.
Listings of opportunities will be explained: www.cchf.org/students/experience and also www.cmda.org/internationalrotations (scroll to the bottom)
Help insure that the next generation of medical disciples find places where they can see missional medicine modeled, and be prepared to make the most of those amazing experiences.
You want to live a life of significance that is humbly aligned to God’s purposes. In order to do that, you need to understand God’s call for, or will in, your life. The problem is, it doesn’t seem clear, and everyone you meet has a different perspective on “calling”, which makes you feel confused and stuck. What you need are tools to help you discern God’s call.
