In this breakout we will discuss the obstacles to empowering excellence in nursing in resource limited areas and provide evidence based and accepted guideline methods to promote excellence in nursing. We will share experiences in working with nursing and nursing education in developing countries.

Objectives

1) list a number of obstacles to empowering excellence in nursing In developing countries.
2) be able to discuss a variety of guideline driven and evidence based methods for promoting excellence in nursing.
