Disaster Response Service Project
Description

We are looking for volunteers to assist us with the set-up of our Disaster Relief Immersion experience. This Disaster Relief Immersion will allow GMHC attendees to "experience" what is like to be a victim of a disaster. In addition, our attendees will be a part of a service project with our partner, Convoy of Hope, in building clean-up kits that will go directly to those impacted by disasters. This volunteer help us set up the service project area, along with restocking supplies for the clean-up kits so attendees can assemble them properly with all items in the correct order. 

*This role requires you to be outdoors so please dress appropriately for the weather*

As a volunteer, we want to make sure you feel comfortable and confident in your assigned role. This training will go over specifics of your role and what you can expect when you arrive during the week of the conference. This is also the perfect time to ask any questions you have about the conference or what you will be doing. 

We highly encourage you to attend this training if at all possible to help the week of the conference go as smoothly as possible for everyone!
